Fresh from its 2-week run here in St. Louis, the new murder mystery
All Over But The Shooting is now available. The premise of this play centers around and audition for a murder mystery and all of the typical people one might see at an audition. Well, except for the dead guy. Usually the scripts include the audience as part of the overall setting, such as a wedding reception as in
"I'm Getting Murdered in the Morning" but "All Over But the Shooting" unfolds as if the room were empty and only the actors were present. The audience are merely voyeurs sitting behind the "fourth wall" observing the rituals of an audition but they are eventually "imagined" by the actors and brought in to help them solve the mystery.
